Full course description

Non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) is an important benefit for Medicaid beneficiaries who need to get to and from medical and other qualifying plans of care-associated services but have no means of transportation.

Accessible, affordable transportation in rural areas is a significant barrier to employment. Learn about the efforts of the Transportation Initiative team in a targeted county and the work toward increased community engagement and expanded provision of services. During this training, you will learn strategies to initiate dialogue about transportation barriers and steps to build grass-roots solutions to expand transportation options.
